What Is The Cancer Research Free Will Service?
It’s never too late to get your affairs in order, and our will specialists are available to help you every step of the way. To get started or find out more, contact MJR Solicitors today.
While we’re offering this as a free service, we do hope you can leave a gift by making a donation / gift to Cancer Research UK to support the amazing work they do for anyone affected by cancer.
Cancer Research Charity Will Writing Terms and Conditions
You must be aged 55 or over to use the service and we stress that you are not obliged to leave a legacy to charity.
Your solicitor’s costs are subject to a maximum limit agreed between Cancer Research UK and the participating solicitors. You may, therefore, be liable to pay any costs which exceed this agreed limit, and so you should clarify this with your solicitor on your first appointment.
It is a condition of the Free Will Service that, for your solicitor’s costs to be covered, you must complete, sign and date the Free Will Service form and give it to your solicitor. You must also sign their invoice for their work upon completion of your Will. Your solicitor must then send us the Free Will Service form and their invoice.
Please note that your solicitor alone, not Cancer Research UK, has control of and is responsible for preparing your Will, and you will be primarily liable to pay your solicitor’s costs until these conditions have been met.
We comply with the Solicitors’ Code of Conduct 2011 published by the Law Society, and any solicitor which we might promote is an independent professional from whom you will receive impartial and confidential advice.
Promotion of any solicitor’s firm by Cancer Research UK does not imply a recommendation by Cancer Research UK
