Lasting Powers Of Attorney
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legally-binding document allowing you (the ‘donor’) to name someone you trust, whether a friend or family member, (your ‘attorney’) to make choices about your health and wellbeing, finances, or belongings, either now or in the future, on your behalf.
It’s important to take action now, choosing someone you trust to manage and protect your interests in the future. If you don’t, when the time comes the courts could make the decision for you. And there’s no guarantee that their decision would be the same as what you would have preferred by those nominated in a LPA.
We always recommend you consider an LPA as soon as possible, and with MJR Solicitors you’ll get all the expert help and legal advice you need from a trusted and local solicitor.
